fight of the night" bonus went to Tyson Griffin vs. Thiago Tavares. $40,000 for each of those fighters. And the "submission of the night" bonus was awarded to Forrest Griffin. $40,000 extra to him. If you add those figures in, the total publicly announced pay outs to fighters is $1,074,000.

Tyson Griffin and Thiago Tavares were awarded "Fight of the Night" bonuses to the tune of $40,000 each.
Forrest Griffin got the "Submission of the Night Bonus" for the rear naked choke he cinched on "Shogun" at the end of the third round in his upset victory.
Ironically there was no "knockout" bonus to give out to anyone at UFC 76: Knockout as all 9 fights ended by decision or submission.
