 UFC President Dana White is always vocal but the one thing that he never does is bash is own product, until now. White recently told The Sun that he doesn’t agree with the USA vs. UK format of next season’s “Ultimate Fighter” reality series in which one of his brightest stars in Michael Bisping will coach.
“It's dumb, I don't like it — it's not USA v the UK, we're looking for the best fighter in the world.” White told The Sun.
From the sounds of White’s comments, it seems as though the decision may have been made by somebody else other than him. Otherwise, why would White not like his own idea?
“You either like the guy's fighting style or personality — nationality has nothing to do with it.” White continued.
The UFC has already begun its tryouts for the next season, with White stating that he will not be accepting anybody who doesn’t hold a professional record.
