Evans shakes it off like he's not hurt... Forrest continues to control the round with very sharp, low left kicks.
Evans responds with a snappy jab and nails Griffin with a a quick right cross near end of the round... They trade combos with Forrest ending the round with a solid one-two punch.

Round three: Evans starts with his left jab again. Forrest sticks to his effective low left kicks.
Forrest is growing very confident with his leg kicks and attempts one after another... In the midst of Griffin's constant leg kicks, he lays a right leg kick out a tad too long and Evans catches Griffin's foot and throws him to the mat.
Like a snake, Evans pounces on Griffin and starts a barrage of hammer fists, landing with uncanny accuracy.
The onslaught looks bad for the champion, but Griffin is eventually able to grab Evans and hold him close enough to regain his bearings (sort of).
For the next minute Griffin attempts to catch Evans in a kimura, and then a triangle choke, but he is clearly worn down from Evans' ground and pound and has little success with the holds.
Just when it appears that Griffin might be able to survive the round, Evans postures up on Griffin, who is holding a lazy guard.
Evans leans in and nails Griffin with an ATOMIC right hand. Griffin looks almost out... Evans, without missing a beat, rises into a squat and delivers five or six devastating, unanswered left hands. Referee jumps in and thankfully calls an end to the onslaught.
Final result: Rashad Evans by TKO at 2:46 of the 3rd Rd.
UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira vs. Frank Mir (Heavyweight)
Round one: Mir comes out southpaw. He controls round early with low leg kicks and solid right uppercuts... Mir takes Nogueira down with an aggressive clinch and a leg trip.
Mir follows Nogueira down and throws some ground and pound before letting Nogueira back up.
More low right inside kicks and incredibly effective right uppercuts to Nog's jaw. Nogueira seems surprised by Mir's striking power and accuracy.
All Nogueira can do is throw an occasional left jab... Mir seems to tire a bit, but stays out of Nogueira's punching range with low kicks and a few right uppercuts.
Mir regains some energy as the round winds down. He throws a crisp left hook that nails Nogueira on the button knocking him down.
