WEC Signs Bart Palaszewski
MMA veteran Bart "Bartimus" Palaszewski (29-11-0) is the latest fighter to dive off the sinking ship that is the IFL and head for dry land. The lightweight standout has just inked a deal with the WEC and could debut as early as September 10th at WEC 36.

The exact terms of the agreement have not been released, however it has been confirmed to be a multi-fight deal.

Palaszewski began his run in the IFL winning eight of his first nine bouts before losing three in a row including a narrow split decision against recent Affliction signee Chris Horodecki. Palaszewski, a seven-year veteran of the game, holds wins over Ivan Menjivar, Ryan Schultz, and most recently Jeff Cox. Palaszewski defeated the former UFC lightweight Cox via TKO at Adrenaline MMA's rookie offering.

Palaszewski will be a nice addition to the WEC's lightweight division which is currently ruled by champion Jamie Varner. Other notables who hold court at 155lb. in the WEC are Rob McCullogh, Richard Crunkilton, Kenneth Alexander, and Marcus Hicks.

Stay tuned to Fightline.com for updates on the WEC debut of "Bartimus", and as always for the latest news and updates from the world of MMA.
