Couture, a budding actor, recently landed a leading role in "The Expendables" and just had surgery to repair and old elbow injury.

"I had to [turn it down]," Couture informed SI.com. "Had to have my left elbow scoped. There were two loose bodies in there! Old nagging injury."

Couture did state that he would like to face Nogueira, leaving open the possibility that these two will face one another, but it appears that between the elbow surgery and the shooting schedule for his new movie, the timing just isn't right at this point.
