 According to multiple reports, the UFC has revised its ruling regarding cornermen apply Vaseline to their fighters. It seems that only cutmen will be allowed to use Vaseline in between rounds.
The rule change follows all of the controversy that ensued after Georges St-Pierre defeated BJ Penn at UFC 94 on January 31st.
During the fight, one of St-Pierre's cornermen applied Vaseline to St-Pierre's back, which is an obvious violation as it would've made it nearly impossible for Penn to get a solid grip on St-Pierre.
