 Former top welterweight contender Jon Fitch has signed a five-fight contract extension with the UFC. Fitch sports an impressive 9-1 UFC record; his lone octagon loss came to current UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre at UFC 87.
Fitch is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Akihiro Gono at UFC 94 back in January. Fitch will next be fighting at UFC 100 against Paulo Thiago; Thiago earned an upset victory over Fitch’s AKA teammate Josh Koscheck at UFC 95.
