* Sarah Kaufman (8-0) is close to finalizing a deal with StrikeForce to replace Kim Couture at the ShoMMA: Strikeforce Challengers debut event on May 15th against Miesha Tate. Kaufman last fought last week, defeating Sara Schneider at PFC: Best Of Both Worlds 2. As reported earlier this week, Couture dropped out of the fight for undisclosed reasons.
* Inside MMA reported last Friday that Andrei Arlovski's next fight will be his boxing debut. Arlovski's trainer, Freddie Roach, confirmed that Arlovski will fight on the undercard of Golden Boy Promotion's June 27th card featuring Chris John vs. Rocky Juarez for the WBA featherweight title. His opponent has not yet been named.
