 * In a recent interview with Tatame, Wanderlei Silva said that he would be willing train with his former rival Ricardo Arona, who yelled in the "Axe Murderer's Face" after defeating him via decision in the semi-final of PRIDE’s middleweight grand prix at PRIDE Final Conflict 2005. “My gym’s door are open to Paulo Filho and Ricardo Arona”, Silva said. “Everybody is professional,” he continued. “I had my rivalry with Arona, but nothing really happened, it’s passed and gave us and the fans great episodes of MMA rivalry… If they actually come here, I put them to fight tomorrow. Who doesn’t want an Arona and Paulo?”
* Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, not to be confused with his twin brother Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, was victorious in his Brazilian debut this past Saturday at Jungle Fight in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil. Nogueira defeated Dion Staring in the main event via submission with a triangle choke in Round 3.
* Patrick Cote is looking to return in September after reconstructive surgery stemming from his fight with Anderson Silva at UFC 90 last October.
