Quick Shots: Dana 'E:60' Recap, UFC 98 Drug Tests, Dream 9 To Air On HDNet & More* The much-talked about E:60 piece on Dana White aired last night on ESPN. While there were some negative aspects in the piece, it was far from the hatchet job that the UFC President expected. The piece talked a little about Dana White's childhood, and noted that he and his mother haven't spoken in years. They interviewed Tito Ortiz in the piece, who was upset that the UFC wouldn't pay for his back surgery. Pat Miletich was also interviewed, and said that "Dana has never told me anything that ended up being the truth". They also covered White's controversial video blog where he goes on a verbal tirade on Loretta Hunt, to which White admitted that he was sorry about some of his comments towards the gay and lesbian community, but had no apologies for his comments towards Hunt. * HDNet announced today that it will provide live coverage of the DREAM 9 Featherweight Grand Prix 2nd Round event on May 26 at 12:00 a.m. PT from the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa, Japan.  The event marks the MMA debut of Jose Canseco, in addition to a bout between Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto and Joe Warren and fights featuring Gegard Mousasi, Mark Hunt, Bob Sapp, Ramaeu Thierry Sokoudjou and Jason "Mayhem" Miller, who faces Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza.

* NWI.com reported today that former WEC bantamweight champion Eddie Wineland (14-6-1) is having to bow out of his scheduled WEC 41 bout with Frank Gomez (6-1) due to an injury to his right elbow. The fight was scheduled to be on the preliminary card. The WEC has yet to officially make an announcement in regards to the injury or name a replacement on their website.

* MMAJunkie.com reported today that Sean Sherk, Frankie Edgar and Matt Serra all passed pre-event drug testing administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. All three fighters have bouts on the main card UFC 98 next Saturday. For more on the testing, click here.
