 - MMAJunkie.com is reporting that The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 cast member Rob Emerson (9-7) is out of his UFC 101 bout with The Ultimate Fighter Season 6 cast member George Sotiropoulos (9-2) after suffering a cut in training. AroundTheOctagon.com is reporting that The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 cast member George Roop (9-4) will come in on short notice to face Sotiropoulos.

- WEC bantamweight champion Miguel Torres (37-1) threw out the ceremonial first pitch yesterday afternoon at the White Sox game in his hometown of Chicago, IL.
