The show that catapulted the careers of UFC heavyweights Forrest Griffin, Kenny Florian, and Amir Sadollah is coming back for it’s tenth season. The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights debuts on Spike this fall and features an all-star cast of hopefuls looking to win a six-figure contract with the UFC.
Four ex-NFL stars are a part of the cast, alongside Internet sensation Kimbo Slice. The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 winner Rashad Evans will be one of the coaches helping to guide the hopefuls during the grueling season of workouts and fights. Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will also serve as a coach on the show. But unlike Rampage’s first coaching stint on TUF, this time he has bad blood with his rival coach, Evans.
"They don't like each other," White bluntly told CBS Sports.
White also stated that this season features so many storylines that some might not even make it to air.
"We had a great season. We only have 42 minutes of content [each episode]," White noted. "We have so many storylines. This could be a ten-set DVD."
White is looking for a solution in getting all the storylines out to fans.
"We got together with Spike, and we started talking about creating episodes for the website," White said. "We're figuring out ways to get these stories out there."
