Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi has injured his shoulder and will be forced to pull out of his semifinals scrap against Rameau Thierry Sokodjou in Dream’s Super Hulk Tournament on October 6th.
MMAWeekly.com was the first to break the news regarding Mousasi. The site is reporting that Dream officials are frantically searching the globe for a suitable replacement to fight on their highly anticipated Dream.11 show, a card which also features the promotion’s Featherweight Grand Prix Finals.
It is believed that Mousasi injured his shoulder during his exhibition grappling match against Fedor Emelianenko at M-1 Global’s “Breakthrough” event last month.
