Breaking News: Brock Lesnar Out Of 106 Fight Due To Illness Yahoo! Sports is reporting the Brock Lesnar has been forced to withdraw from his highly anticipated Nov. 21 title defense against Shane Carwin at UFC 106 due to illness.

“He said he’s never been this sick in his life,” White told Kevin Iole. “He said it’s been going on for a long time and he just hasn’t been able to shake it.”

White also noted that he did not believe that Lesnar had contracted the H1N1 virus (swine flu).

As for who what fight will replace it, or if a replacement will be named for Carwin, White simple noted, "We’re still working everything out."

“My heart just sank, as you can imagine,” Carwin said, after hearing the news. “Hopefully, we’ll get it rescheduled soon.”

UFC 106 takes place on November 21st inside the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and features a light heavyweight bout between Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin. Kevin Iole noted that the Ortiz-Griffin bout could be moved to main event status if White is unable to find a suitable opponent for Carwin.
