Shane Carwin Talks Fedor, Feels That He Would Beat Brock Lesnar
Shane Carwin Talks Fedor, Feels That He Would Beat Brock Lesnar Fedor Emelianenko is set to make his Strikeforce debut against the undefeated Brett Rogers in Strikeforce's CBS debut this Saturday. Top UFC heavyweight contender Shane Carwin recently told us that he would like for the Russian heavyweight to come to the UFC, and feels that Fedor may be risking his legacy when he faces Rogers this Saturday.

"You would be hard pressed to find any MMA fighter that would not have Fedor as their number one or two best fighters EVER in MMA," Carwin recently told FightLine.com. "When you put the best fighter in the world on shows that draw a lot less then the UFC, you risk the legacy that Fedor has built if, and when, he loses. We are all beatable and sometimes you can have clearly won, and still lose on the judges scorecard."

The UFC was hopeful that Fedor's next fight would be against UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, before Fedor signed with Strikeforce this past summer. Despite Fedor fighting for the competition, Carwin let it be known whom he picks in a bout between Fedor and Lesnar.

"I think that Fedor would beat Brock," Carwin bluntly noted.

Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers will be taking place inside the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The show will mark the American primetime television debut of WAMMA heavyweight champ Fedor Emelianenko, and will be the first of a multi-event deal between Strikeforce and CBS.
