-- According to a report on FiveOuncesOfPain.com, Josh Neer has been released from the UFC. Neer was let go shortly after suffering a unanimous decision loss, his third in his last four fights, to Gleison Tibau at UFC 104 last Saturday.

-- The audience for the record-setting third episode of this season's The Ultimate Fighter, which featured Kimbo Slice facing Roy Nelson, keeps rising. According to MMAJunkie.com, DVR viewings of the episode have pushed the viewership up eight percent, from 5.3 million viewers to 5.7 million viewers. That more than doubles the previous record for the series before this season, which was 2.8 million viewers set by the debut of the third season.
